Global Super Nova and Greenhays Blueberry were on outstanding form at the British Dressage Youth Inter-County. Together, they helped me score more than 90% for my riding to take the A Squad title.
The youth competitions provide an excellent opportunity for the horses to get used to working in a busier competition atmosphere that feels more like an international event.
Having already clipped Blueberry, I was quick to clip Nova when we returned home. I am pleased to say that they are both looking very well. A brilliant cross country session on grass at Cricket St Thomas proved this!
Feeling excited and lucky to be starting the event season in the Open Intermediate at Aston-Le-Walls next week. Our training in all phases has been going very well, so hopefully we will manage to put this into practice on the day.
