Well the 2014 season is well underway, after a winter of hard training with the horses. On the 15th of March we made the short journey to Aldon BE for the Pony Trial dressage with Kativa Shadow and Euro Timex who I will be campaigning in my final year of trials. They behaved beautifully for their first “proper” event back, scoring 33 and 38 both respectable. Sunday was jumping day! The boys were class showing off their jumping ability in both phases. Euro Timex had the all important double clear inside the time to finish 5th. Kativa Shadow had a unlucky pole Showjumping but showed his boldness Cross Country flying round clear inside the time (not bad for 14hh!)
This weekend (22nd March) was Espionage`s (My horse) chance to strut her stuff at Gatcombe. She really impressed me keeping her cool although in season to do a very promising test. Furthermore giving me a lovely ride for a double clear inside the time in not so nice conditions, when both SJ and XC were causing many problems.
