Palmer Equestrian started the official 2021 competition season at Bovington with a 3.2 penalty win for Super Nova in the British Eventing Intermediate Novice.
Nova has made lots of progress in her training during lockdown but it was great to have this confirmed with a confident double clear and win amongst good company.
Lockdown has also shown Nova’s versatility. I like to produce all my horses through a varied and enjoyable routine, she has certainly shown that she has matured and now forms an essential part of the team guiding and leading the younger horses we are breeding and producing at Greenhays Stud.
I now look forward to doing more fitness work focusing on interval training and doing more cross country before our first Intermediate on the 20th May.
